Terms of Service
Not for EU residents
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are not intended for use by individuals or entities located in the European Union (EU) or any other jurisdiction where the use of the Service is restricted.
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of origami lens (the “Service”). By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and, if applicable, the organization you represent (“Customer”).
2. Accounts, organizations, and administrators
The Service is provided as a multi-tenant SaaS. A “tenant” (also called an “organization”) represents a Customer. Customer administrators manage access for their tenant. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to discover source code except as permitted by law.
- Use the Service to violate any law, infringe rights, or transmit malicious code.
- Attempt to bypass tenant isolation, access other tenants’ data, or probe for vulnerabilities.
- Abuse the Service (including excessive automated traffic) or interfere with operation.
4. Customer content and data
“Customer Content” means data and materials you or your users submit to the Service (including metadata and outputs). As between the parties, Customer retains ownership of Customer Content. You grant us a limited license to process Customer Content solely to provide, secure, and support the Service.
You are responsible for ensuring you confirm the accuracy of outputs and for ensuring you have the right to submit Customer Content.
5. AI features
The Service may include AI-assisted features. Outputs may be inaccurate and are provided for informational purposes only. Do not submit sensitive, regulated, or highly confidential data unless you have validated the Service is appropriate for your use case. More details are in our AI Disclosure.
6. Subscriptions, trials, billing, and taxes
Fees, trial terms, and plan limits are described at purchase/checkout and/or in the Service UI. Subscriptions are billed in advance unless stated otherwise. You are responsible for applicable taxes, except those based on our net income.
7. No refunds
No refunds. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or as expressly stated in writing by us.
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe the Service is being used in violation of these Terms, for non-payment, or for security reasons. You may stop using the Service at any time. Termination does not relieve payment obligations for amounts accrued.
9. Confidentiality
Each party may receive the other’s confidential information. Each party will use reasonable care to protect it and use it only to perform under these Terms.
10. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL WE BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS PAID (IF ANY) BY CUSTOMER TO US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
12. Indemnification
You will indemnify and hold harmless Origami Precision LLC from claims arising out of your use of the Service in violation of these Terms or applicable law, including your Customer Content.
13. Changes to the Service and Terms
We may modify the Service and these Terms. If changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice (e.g., email or an in-app notice). Continued use after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance.
14. Governing law; venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, excluding conflict-of-laws rules. Exclusive venue for disputes will be in Contra Costa County, California, USA.
